Sewer Connections
Sewer Connections

Sewer Connections

Storm and foul water connections for both large commercial developers and small domestic clients. We liaise with the local water authority (such as Thames Water) on your behalf, from application stage to sign-off, as well as dealing with the local council in relation to permits and any traffic management.

Sewer Diversions

Sewer Diversions

Diversion of the existing sewer for both large commercial developers and domestic clients. If you are extending or making other alterations to your property, you may need to divert your sewerage line. We liaise with the local water board authority (such as Thames Water) to ensure works are completed to their standards, enabling your deposit to be reimbursed.

Deep Drainage

Deep Drainage

No matter what the depth is of the nearest main sewer to your site (e.g. up to 10 metres), we can carry out the connection to ensure your development is connected to the public sewage system.

Removal of Drainage Interceptor Traps

Removal of Drainage Interceptor Traps

A drainage interceptor trap is an outdated device located within a sewer pipe. Silt and debris can collect in these causing blockages in the drainage system. We can remove these to prevent any future blockages and can install a new pipe branch or demarcation chamber.

Tunnelling

Tunnelling

Tunnelling is one of the methods of reaching the existing sewer in order to install a new connection. It involves excavating under the road and/or footpath via timber headings. Tunnelling avoids the need to break/excavate the surface of the road, thus saving time and money in liaising with the local council regarding permits/licencing and any traffic management. Furthermore, the road and footpath can be maintained and operate as normal.

We provide a temporary works design to demonstrate that the structure has been installed safely and is guaranteed.

Shaft Sinking

Shaft Sinking

Sinking a shaft can be carried out on site or in the road and/or footpath. This method can be used to tackle a variety of engineering issues such as sewer repairs, sewer blockages, and sewer alterations. We can undertake shafts of all depths and dimensions.
